I grew up spending a lot of my time on a remote island renowned for its wild weather and water sports. I ran my own business for five years, the Tiree Kite Surf Academy. During this time I took on a couple of freelancers and was involved in all aspects of the company. This included everything from marketing, web design, book keeping, administration and of course teaching.
I love the outdoors and make the most of all conditions. I am a big dog lover and have a Border Terrier called Maggie, who is the bees knees. I am a friendly hard working, professional character with a good range of skills and a high motivation and ambition to succeed.

I worked part time alongside a successful and growing luxury food business, which operated from the Isle of Lewis. I offered them trade show sales and marketing support. This included pitches to large supermarkets and export brands such as Sainsburys and Whole Foods. Transferable skills include customer service and sales and marketing experience. The company secured deals with Sainsburys UK & Waitrose.
